JULY IS JUVENILE ARTHRITIS AWARENESS MONTH

Nearly 300,000 children in America have been diagnosed with juvenile arthritis.

The Arthritis National Research Foundation funds arthritis research to find a cure for arthritis, and this includes trying to find a cure for the hundreds of thousands of children suffering each year with this debilitating disease.

By supporting arthritis research specific to juvenile arthritis every year, we are providing hope for a better life for the kids and their families living every day with arthritis. Join us by raising awareness about juvenile arthritis and donate towards this much-needed research.

Quality Care You Can Trust

We believe that good health is life's richest blessing. The holistic approach in treating patients is paramount for delivering quality healthcare. The physical health is certainly important, but the psychological, social, cultural and emotional aspects of the individual have to be incorporated in the health care treatment to attain total recovery. To me, the psychological or internal environment of a patient have the biggest impact on healing.

Nursing is a calling that includes compassion, devotion, and service to others. Helping patients cope with features of their health in an environment that they cannot change is primary for me as there will always be aspects of our lives that we cannot change but must accept, strength does not reside in never having been broken but the fortitude to grow strong in the broken.

LANITA Y. GANN

Family Nurse Practitioner

My name is Lanita and I completed my Associate of Science in Nursing from Roane State Community College in 1997. My Bachelor of Science was competed at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2011. I completed my Master's of Science in Nursing at King University in 2017 which has been my aspiration for many years.

My twenty years of healthcare experience includes dialysis, long term care facilities, family practice, providing nursing services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, care of the incarcerated and home health care. My strengths include leadership skills, superb communication abilities, and a desire to resolve health problems for individuals through study, investigation, and proper referral.
